Your cloth diapers should smell clean without unpleasant odors. Sometimes you may need to do an extra rinse to help eliminate suds left in your final rinse water. After that, you can choose to tumble dry with the washing machine or you can just hang them up on the line. Machine drying the cloth diapers often can damage it over time just like any other clothing. Depending on the weather, line drying can save you some electricity bill and preserve your cloth diapers longer. But you have to make they dry completely before letting your baby wear them again. Your baby’s skin is very sensitive, so if the cloth diaper is semi dry, then you will run a risk of rash and fungal infection.
